Greeting Cards--Felix Doolittle
Felix Fu grew up in Hong Kong and loved to draw, but kept his drawings tiny, often behind a cupped hand so that he wouldn’t get in trouble with his teachers or parents.
Loren Sklar met Felix in his post-college days in a restaurant he was managing and fell in love with his handwriting on the specials-of-the-day board and the logo he created for them. With their shared passion for the tactile quality of paper and for handwriting, they started a line of stationery in 2003 with Felix’s nom de plume, Felix Doolittle. Today the self-taught artist’s nostalgic watercolor illustrations with their stories to tell are the heart of Felix Doolittle which has grown into a worldwide brand and Oprah’s “All-Time Favorite Stationer.”
Their mission is to create meaningful products that foster connection for some of life’s most delightful pastimes - writing handwritten cards and letters, reading and sharing books, and making a colorful home. They make a wide range of greeting cards, boxed cards, bookplates, bookmarks, art prints, decorative labels and vinyl stickers, pocket mirrors, and more.
